Humber’s Advertising Art Direction and Copywriting Graduate Certificate programs focus on helping students develop an industry-ready portfolio over two intense semesters followed by a work placement term.


SPECIALIZED & CROSS-DISCIPLINARY SKILLS

We offer specialization courses and linked courses.

Art directors learn to hone their skills with visuals and copywriters learn to craft words for advertising in focused classes for each discipline.

And, we go beyond.

Art directors also learn copywriting and copywriters learn art direction. The cross-disciplinary learning not only helps students to better understand the skillset of their creative partners but also builds stronger team collaboration.

Our art directors and copywriters work cohesively together to form creative concepts and bridge visual and written creative solutions for each advertising challenge.

GOING OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM

We offer an intensive and fun experience.

Beyond the classroom, we take our students on field trips for creative inspiration and to gain industry exposure. Students are invited to a number of agency tours to kick-start their networking journey. We also bring a steady stream of industry guest speakers and alumni into our classrooms to mentor and build portfolios.
